This tour starts up an easy trail that winds past saguaro and cholla cactus with a gradual elevation gain. This brings you to the most interesting part of the ‘walk’. A 200-foot aerial walkway 150 feet above the Castle Creek Canyon.

The Castle Peak Via Ferrata provides a real mountaineering experience. Much less technical skill is required compared to rock climbing. If you can climb a ladder, you can feel the thrill and magnificence of scaling our 400-foot tall peak that provides amazing views of the surrounding peaks. This adventure includes the aerial walkway and the summiting of Castle Peak.

The canyons at Castle Hot Springs provide a unique climbing experience. This is a great introduction for first-timers and challenging for intermediate climbers. We start with ground school learning the various ways to expand your skills of moving over rock safely and always ‘on the rope’.
