my family!”

TRAVERSING
THE PAST

This journey is much more than your path to Castle Hot Springs, it is a gateway to the pristine Sonoran Desert and a landscape shaped by history as vast as the landscape itself.

Indigenous Peoples, cowboys, business moguls (and don’t forget the likes of Teddy Roosevelt and JFK) have made their way through the desert to the very spot that awaits you. To sum it up, you’re in good company as you kick up dust along the way. (Check out our full story here).

Transportation via private car service or helicopter can be arranged. Once you’re reservation is made, we will be in touch to arrange your trip.

7-MILES OF DIRT

What’s an adventure without getting your boots dirty? When driving into Castle Hot Springs, you’ll traverse 7-miles of dirt road, but don’t let that intimidate you. The road is regularly maintained and, while we recommend an SUV or truck, nearly all vehicles will be able to make the journey.

SITES ALONG THE WAY

BURRO
Family

Rumored to be the descendants of mining burros, there’s a good chance you’ll see our friends meandering across the road during your drive. Slow down, snap a pic and say hi!

LAKE
PLEASANT

About 1 mile into the road, you’ll be perched on a hill with an expansive view of Lake Pleasant,  one Arizona’s largest lakes and a favorite of Phoenix locals.
